French artist, Hachim Bahous, came out on Facebook on March 2nd claiming the new Solo: A Star Wars Story artwork on their recent poster campaign is actually from his artwork. The original artwork by Bahous was created for a series of compilation albums titled the “Legacy of…” for Sony Music back in 2015. In a side by side comparison in his post it is very hard to deny his claims. While it’s not uncommon for artists to get inspiration from other artists, this time everything from the layout to the color scheme is just a total ripoff.
